About Us

The altogether group is owned by cousins Michael and Ben Dyer. Their aim is simple; 'to inspire, guide and encourage the people of tomorrow to achieve above and beyond their current expectations.'

Michael and Ben both grew up in low aspiration areas, they have witnessed first hand the effect that the decline of the pottery, coal and steel industry has had, particularly on the members of their family.

They both believed that aspiration levels amongst the youngsters of today were relatively low.

They also had the belief that with the right encouragement, aspirations could be raised and that more needed to be done through enterprise education for this to be achieved. Therefore in the late summer of 2007 they decided to do something about it. Hence the Altogether Group was born.

Using their unique selling point of being 'by young people, to young people' they hope to make a difference and help the people of tomorrow realise their full potential.

The company currently has two main products. See products at the bottom of the page for details.

Michael and Ben realised that although they are good at what they do, their age meant that they wouldn't always have the relevant experience in some areas. They therefore created a board of experienced professionals to help further aid and guide their product range. People on the board include; ex police inspector and local entrepreneur Glynn Dyer, head of business studies at Fenton Sixth Form College Jane Robinson, business teacher Simon Mansell and finally Val Mackenzie of Staffordshire University Business Village.

They have also enrolled at Staffordshire University and the company is based at the business village.
